We are looking for enthusiastic, caring volunteers to help support individuals and groups with a range of activities e.g. IT, cookery, discussion groups, poetry, music, language sessions and a wide range of sporting activities. Volunteers do not need any particular skills or qualifications but a caring nature, patience, enthusiasm and commitment are essential. We are looking for responsible people with a kind nature who are keen to help people to get on with their lives and recover their independence after a brain injury.
This role offers volunteers an opportunity for personal development and experience of working with adults with an acquired brain injury and may be of particular interest to those involved in health and social care, psychology, biology, nursing and medicine, and related disciplines.
If you have 3-4 spare hours or more per week, and enjoy meeting people and participating in different activities, then it would be great to hear from you.
